  • Grasping task constraints and deadline implications.
  • The Critical Path: Identification, analysis, and strategies to accelerate it.
  • Managing leads, lags, and schedule float.


Day 2: Resources, Costs, and Tracking
•    Module 1: Resource Management

  • Defining resources: Labor, Materials, and Costs.
  • Managing availability, rate tables, and variable expenses.
  • Assigning resources and resolving over-allocations to balance workloads.


•    Module 2: Financial Control

  • Entering fixed costs and one-time expenses.
  • Analyzing costs at the project, task, and resource levels.


•    Module 3: Tracking & Reporting

  • The Baseline: Establishing and saving the initial project plan.
  • Evaluating deviations and changes within the project timeline.
  • Earned Value Analysis: Assessing overall project performance.
  • Generating standard and customized reports for stakeholders.
