Course Outline
Day 1
Orientation and Initial Preparations
Arranging materials, seating participants, and serving refreshments.
Module 1: My Confidence, My Stage
Exploring the vital role of self-confidence in successful public speaking and personal expression.
Activity 1: I am Me
Participants will take the stage to share personal details, an exercise aimed at fostering confidence and self-esteem.
Module 2: The Power of Influence and Persuasion – How to Command Attention
A discussion on the importance of crafting and delivering ideas that inspire, influence, and capture the audience’s interest.
Activity 2: The Blind Guide
In this exercise, three participants per group will collaboratively build a structure using Lego or building blocks of alternating colors. Two members will wear blindfolds, while one serves as the unblindfolded captain. The captain will lead the blindfolded team members solely through vocal instructions, with one blindfolded participant responsible for construction and the other for relaying instructions.
Integration Session
Summarizing and discussing the key insights from the previous segment.
Module 3: Public Speaking and Its Framework
Examining the structure of public speaking, preparation methods, and essential considerations for delivery.
Activity 3: My Crazy Story
Participant groups will collaboratively develop a narrative based on a single provided topic.
Module 4: Crafting and Delivering the Speech
Focusing on techniques for structuring speech content, identifying effective delivery strategies, and personal preparation methods.
Final Integration and Assignment Presentation
Participants will select from a list of topics for a discussion lasting between 5 and 10 minutes.
